Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen discussed their MCU characters plus small teasers for Avengers 4 this weekend at ACE Comic Con in Chicago. The God of Mischief and Scarlet Witch might not have shared any screentime together in the MCU, but that didn’t stop Tom Hiddleston and Elizabeth Olsen from having a little fireside (in this cas, panel side) chat about their two characters at ACE Comic Con in Chicago over the weekend.
Of course, fans were eager to learn what the future had in store for the two characters. After all, they both technically “died” in Infinity War. Loki being outright killed by Thanos, and Scarlet Witch being blown away by Thanos’ snap.
So, is Loki really dead? Hiddleston recalled a fan theory from someone that made it sound very plausible that Loki might actually still be alive. “I was at a park in London a few days ago and some guys came to say ‘Hi’ and they asked me the same question… They said: ‘Hey, all the other times Loki’s died, he stabs with his right hand. Now he’s stabbing with his right hand.’”
“That’s an incredible attention to detail,” Hiddleston admitted. But ultimately, like all who keep mum about Marvel’s secrets, he could only conclude, “Your guess is as good as mine.”
